Addendum: A culinary high in the heart of the City. Since launching, Addendum, Housed inside Apex City of London on Seething Lane, has taken the City by storm. The chic and elegant fine dining restaurant, which has the critically renowned Tom Ilic at the helm, offers flavoursome modern European dishes with his unmistakeable signature. The menu is characterised by seasonal, robust dishes and hearty favourites as well as showcasing Ilic?s passion for offal. Typical starters Hand picked Cornish crab, fennel & Granny Smith ?gazpacho? or braised pig?s cheeks and chorizo with garlic and parsley mash, whilst main courses might include line caught sea bass, lentils & wild garlic cream, bone marrow brioche or roast saddle of lamb, turnip confit, spiced aubergine cannelloni, salsa Rosa. Indulgent desserts feature roasted figs, fromage frais bavarois, honey madeleine; Banana tarte tatin, warm chocolate ganache. The menu is complemented by a well thought out, extensive wine and champagne list. Connoisseurs will appreciate fine wines such as the Meursault, Les Meix-Chavaux, Dom. Comte Armand 1999 or, for those not on expenses, the reasonably priced Dom. Montrose Chardonnay 2004. A handy pied-?-terre and fashioned for the City?s most discerning crowd, Addendum is synonymous with fabulous food and fine wines.
